Is there a Helpdesk/contact person in case I have any inquiries?

If I’m driving up, what’s the parking situation?
There is loads of parking onsite!
What if I need to check in late?
If you’re arriving after 7 pm, please text 07940 147367,
Drop your luggage at reception and head straight to the main meeting in Derbyshire Hall. We’ll get you checked in after the meeting.
Please note that the latest arrival time is 10pm.
What can I expect at check-in on Friday?
Head to the main reception to be greeted by our wonderful welcome team.
They will check you in and give you a room key.
Head to your room to unpack and settle in.
Dinner at 6 pm! Doors open for session 1 at 7 pm.
How do I get into my room?
You will be given a key card at check in. If you lose your key or the card isn’t working, please contact the emergency number: 07940147367.
If I want to change my room allocation, am I allowed?
We have tried our best to accommodate each rooming request, so unfortunately, no swaps!
Also, due to health and safety and safeguarding policies, you are not allowed to move rooms.
Are towels provided?
No- although it is fully catered, please bring toiletries and towels.
What time does the coach leave on Sunday?
The coach will depart at 4:30 pm.
I hear there’s merch? How can I get my hands on it?
There will be a merch stand! Find our merch at the reception. Card only!
Is there a curfew?
No; however, be mindful of your neighbours.
Am I allowed offsite?
Yes, of course, but there are lots of things packed into the KC programme, so it’s unlikely you will need to.
If I haven’t booked on to a workshop! Can I still attend?
Yes you can. The programme will have the room allocations for the workshop.
Can I change the workshop I signed up for?
Yes you can.

The Hayes is about 3 miles from the local train station
Our local station is Alfreton Station on the Sheffield-Nottingham (every half an hour*) and Liverpool to Norwich lines (every hour*). Please be advised that there is no lift available at Alfreton Station

We recommend that you pre-book taxis if arriving at Alfreton and Derby Stations. Our recommended reliable taxi company is Amber Taxis. As a guide, Amber Taxis charge £28.00 from Derby Station and £9.00 from Alfreton Station (please quote 'The Hayes' to ensure these rates).
